KönigsRadio is a hobby webradio project I started after seeing Pete Brown's RadioFree Greenfield. I have been collecting vinyl records and CDs since the winter of 2024, and wanted to occasionally share my music with friends, online.

Who does even listen? LOL
Listening human-curated radio is a special and lovely feeling, isn't it? You, whereever you are, and a random person thousands of kilometers away from you. Both listening the same thing, at the same time. And that person puts an effort into curating the playlist. Very precious.

Why the name?
I live near Koblenz, Germany, and Königsbacher is a local beer brewery here. It is very famous here, and the most delicious beer I've ever tasted. In general, "Königsbach" means "King's brook", and is a widely used name for places in German speaking countries.

What should you expect?
Well, I love all sorts of music. But especially jazz, rock, and all other sub-genres of these are my favourites. You might also occasionally hear Azerbaijani mugham, a rap album, or disco - in case I stream in the morning :3. By the time you read this, hopefully there would be a "Request albums" button that you can figure out how to use.

Why offline?
I stream when I listen to the playlist myself. So you can be sure I'm here with you if the stream is on air. You can even ask me to start the radio! Just drop an email, I am a responsive "emailer".
